This site is dedicated to the reporting and archival of political corruption – big and small. Whether it is local or national news, we want to hear about it!

By definition, Political Corruption can take many forms:

* Immoral behavior on the job.

* Perversion of Integrity – ex. lying to the public.

* Corrupt or dishonest practices- ex. bribery.

* Illegal Behavior – ex. breaking election law.

* Unethical Actions – ex. buying land that will be more valued after an earmarked highway project is passed.

The difficulty lies in determining: Whose morals? Whose ethics?

And, since we live in an age whereby much of our culture believes (and was educated in) moral relativism, the fruit of that belief has resulted in a level of political corruption and disgust with Congress never seen before. Regardless of your party affiliation (I am an Independent) the level and amount of bribery, special interests control, favors for earmarks, has reached an all time high. It encompasses “both sides of the aisle”, knowing no party affiliation!

What do we do about it? Complaining solves nothing. Acceptance has gotten us to where we are today. I think it should be documented here (facts only – no conjecture, please) and use this information as a basis for how we vote. The best solution is TERM LIMITS – but that is another discussion for another web site…
